## Online sessions, from wherever you are in New York or Connecticut

FrankTalk Therapy is a fully virtual practice. Paul Nelson is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Connecticut, and every session happens on secure, HIPAA-aligned video through doxy.me. You meet from a private space of your choosing, whether a home office, a parked car, or a hotel room on a work trip, with no commute and no lobby.

Psychotherapy is regulated by state, so Paul provides therapy to clients physically located in New York or Connecticut at the time of session. If you split time between the two, that's easy to accommodate. Just let us know where you'll be.

Paul is a New York–licensed LMHC serving men statewide by secure video, no matter which borough, suburb, or county you're in.

How it works

## How online sessions work

Three steps, no software to install, no lobby to sit in.

### 1\. Book online

Reach out through the contact form. We confirm the fit, pick a time, and you're on the calendar, with no phone tag.

### 2\. Click the Waiting Room link

At your session time, open the doxy.me Waiting Room link. Nothing to install. A browser, a camera, and a private space is all you need.

### 3\. Meet with Paul

Fifty focused minutes on secure, HIPAA-aligned video. Direct, frank, and structured around what you actually came to work on.

Outside New York or Connecticut?

## Consulting may still be a fit

Psychotherapy is state-licensed and limited to New York and Connecticut. Paul's [consulting services](/consulting) cover education, resource mapping, and guidance around men's sexual health. They are a distinct offering and are available more broadly. If you're outside NY or CT, [get in touch](/contact) and we'll confirm the right fit before you book.
