Nelson, LMHC, CSE, d/b/a FrankTalk Therapy ("FrankTalk," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing this website or booking a session, you agree to these Terms. Clinical services are separately governed by the Psychotherapist–Client Agreement signed at intake. ## 1\. Not a Medical Emergency Service This website and our services are **not** intended for medical or mental health emergencies. If you or someone you know is in crisis, call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), 911, or go to the nearest emergency room. ## 2\. Nature of Services FrankTalk provides psychotherapy and consulting services via telehealth. Psychotherapy varies with each client and calls for active effort on your part. It can have benefits and risks; there are no guarantees of specific outcomes. The information on this site is educational and does not create a therapist–client relationship. ## 3\. Appointments, Fees & Payment - Sessions are $250 for a 50-minute session unless otherwise agreed. - Services are out-of-network for all insurance companies. An invoice with diagnostic and billing codes will be provided for you to submit for reimbursement. - Payment is due at the time the appointment is booked, via Zelle, Google Pay, Venmo, or accepted card networks. - Limited sliding-scale is available for financial hardship. Please contact us. ## 4\. Cancellations & No-Shows We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations and missed appointments may be charged the full session fee, as insurance does not reimburse for missed sessions. ## 5\. Communication Text and email are preferred for scheduling. We make every reasonable effort to respond the same day, excluding weekends and holidays. Email and text are not secure; do not share sensitive clinical information through those channels. For urgent needs when we are not reachable, contact a local crisis line or emergency room. ## 6\. Confidentiality Information disclosed in therapy is confidential except as required by law (including mandated reporting of harm to self or others, abuse of children or elderly adults, and valid court orders). Full details are provided in the Psychotherapist–Client Agreement. ## 7\. Intellectual Property All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of FrankTalk Therapy & Consulting or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent. ## 8\. Third-Party Links & Services This site may link to third-party websites (e.g., Doxy.me for telehealth sessions). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party site or service. ## 9\. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability This website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FrankTalk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content. ## 10\. Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York. ## 11\. Changes to These Terms We may update these Terms from time to time.
