At 46, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. The surgery saved my life. What nobody prepared me for was everything that came after — the sexual side effects, the identity questions, the silence from the same medical system that had just handed me a clean scan. I went looking for honest, non-commercial resources for men in the same spot. There weren't any.
So in 2008 I built one. FrankTalk.org started as a place where men could talk plainly about erectile dysfunction, recovery, and the parts of male sexual health the culture would rather not touch. It grew into the largest online community for men with ED — thousands of members, no gatekeeping, no sales pitch.
That community made the next step obvious. The Erectile Dysfunction Foundation was created to carry the work further, and I serve as its president. This practice — FrankTalk Therapy — is the private, one-on-one side of the same mission: give men a real place to be honest, get better tools, and stop carrying it alone.
