Privacy Policy

FrankTalk Therapy & Consulting ("FrankTalk," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard information you provide through www.franktalktherapy.com, our intake forms, and communications with our practice. • Technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected automatically for site security and analytics.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To schedule, provide, and follow up on therapy or consulting sessions.
  • To respond to inquiries and communicate about your care.
  • To generate invoices with the diagnostic and billing codes needed for out-of-network insurance reimbursement.

  • To maintain and improve the security and functionality of this website.

3. Confidentiality of Therapy Records

Information disclosed in the course of psychotherapy is confidential and will not be released to anyone without your written permission, except as required by law. Most states require reports if a client is suicidal or homicidal, or if a child or elderly adult has been abused, neglected, or is in danger of harm. These limits are explained in full in the Psychotherapist–Client Agreement you sign at intake.

4. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third parties to deliver our services, including Doxy.me (HIPAA-compliant telehealth video), payment processors, email providers, and website hosting. Each provider maintains its own privacy and security practices. We do not sell your personal information.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; please avoid sending sensitive clinical details by unencrypted email.
